# Archive a Computer

> Terminally archives a sleeping Computer under expected_resource_version and generation fencing. This initial public lifecycle stop refuses active provider cleanup rather than pretending it occurred; wake and provider dispatch remain unavailable. Send Idempotency-Key for exact replay.
