# Create a Concept

> Name one idea in the Workspace's own language and map it to the catalog Tools, Skills, and MemoryStores that resolve it, with up to 32 relations and 64 mappings. Mapping targets are not validated on write, and a mapping is never authority: PermissionAssignments, ActionPolicy, and the CapabilityGateway ignore it. A create past the 200-Concept cap, or on a name already in use, is rejected as a conflict. Accepts an Idempotency-Key.

Checkfu support posture: alpha; hosted. Required evidence journey: skill-delivery. Deployment-specific readiness and the latest proven release are available from GET /v1/support/capabilities.
