Source: examples/openai-agents-acp in the repository. Its README carries the complete build, digest pinning, adoption, and verification commands. This is a bring-your-own-harness example, not a second managed Codex path. The exact Codex recipe in Checkfu’s generic Vercel workload remains the sole curated Codex integration. Use this example when you own an @openai/agents loop and want to package it as an OCI harness. The example deliberately declares a narrow runtime contract:
  • ACP v1 text prompts, one session, and mcp_delivery: none;
  • the openai_responses model wire through Checkfu’s injected gateway URL and short-lived token;
  • process-wide and Runner-level SDK tracing shutdown so that gateway credential is not sent to a separate trace exporter;
  • cooperative session/cancel, with only notification-send-completed optional same-session history and no remote delivery claim.
Start with the repository README, run its commit-tier tests, build the exact locked image, then register it with --model-wire openai_responses and --mcp-delivery none. For the protocol floor without any agent SDK, read the dependency-free custom ACP example.
